CEMETERY SUNDAY
The Annual Service of Intercession for the Dead takes place in the City Cemetery today (Sunday) at 6.00 pm. Please be in position at 5.30 pm. The City Cemetery Manager has asked that all able-bodied people park outside the Cemetery.

MONTHLY PRO LIFE Devotions on Tuesday 19th June in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, commencing with Rosary at 7.00 pm followed by Mass at 7.30 pm. Everyone welcome to come and pray for the Unborn Child.

PATH TO PRAYER – ADULT FAITH DEVELOPMENT
An opportunity to explore the Old and New Testaments, Liturgy, Creative Expression, Centering Prayer on Mondays from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm (one year course). The course starts on 1 October in the Thornhill Centre. Cost £160 for full year. Deposit £40. For further information telephone 7135 1233.

YOUNG PEOPLE & SUICIDE
There will be a ‘Youth Vigil’ held in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty on Sunday 24th June, 7.00 pm – 11.30 pm. This vigil is being held for all those affected in anyway by suicide and also for all young people. This will be an evening of prayer, drama, music, silence, talks and healing. The evening is aimed at giving hope and consolation and we particularly invite those finding it hard to cope with the struggles of life or who are interested in any way and want to pray for our young people. Everyone is welcome. The evening will be led by young people for young people!

WEE NUNS’ SAVINGS
Open on Sunday 10th June, Sunday 24th June and Sunday 8th July. The Savings will be closed for the Summer holidays and reopen on Sunday 19th August.

ROME PILGRIMAGE 2007
There will be a meeting for all those people who are taking part in the pilgrimage to Rome on Sunday 24th June at 3.00pm in Lumen Christi College, Bishop Street.

HIKE TO CROAGH PADRAIG
Do you fancy a trip to Westport, Co. Mayo combined with a hike to one of Ireland’s most famous mountains, Croagh Patrick? The trip will be on Sunday 22nd July for those aged 18 – 30 and it will cost approximately £35. This fee will include transport from Derry, an official guide and dinner in Westport. THE GASYARD CHILDREN’S CENTRE will be running a Summer Scheme from Monday 2nd July to Friday 20th July from 10.00 am until 1.00 pm. To register call into the Gasyard Centre from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd June for a registration form.
