THE DVD OF THE CENTENARY MASS
is available now at the Sacristy and the
Parochial House. Featuring: Liturgical Reception of
the Papal Legate, Concelebrated Mass of St Columba,
Procession and Blessing of the Well by Cardinal O’Brien.
The DVD also records some of the people at work in
the preparations in the week leading up to the 9th
June. Cost £10. A USA/Canadian version is now
also available.

MUSIC FOR SUMMER MASSES
As the choirs take a well deserved
break for July and August, we would like to offer
the opportunity to other singers and instrumentalists
to lead the music at Sunday Masses for the next two
months. Can you sing or play an instrument? If you
are aged 16-18 you could allocate the Masses served
towards receiving the Pope John Paul II Award (www.thepopejohnpauliiaward.com).
Would you be willing to give your time and talent
on a voluntary basis to enhance the liturgy this Summer
or for some Sundays of the Summer? Please give your

MASS IN HONOUR OF OUR LADY
OF MOUNT CARMEL will take place in the Carmelite
Retreat Centre, Termonbacca, Derry on Her Feast Day,
Thursday 16th July at 8.00 pm. All are welcome to
attend.
KNOCK SUMMER YOUTH FESTIVAL
– This year’s festival will take
place from July 23rd-26th and is for those aged 18-35.
The festival will include inspiring talks, workshops,
a reconciliation and healing service, mime, drama,
dancing, music and lots of free time. The theme is
'You are the light of the world' and the weekend will
have a variety of guest speakers. The weekend costs
€70 Euro and this includes meals and accommodation.
There is some transport available from the diocese.
