In line with the present re-ordering of parish structures, we need to adjust our Mass times so as to ease the pressure on the priests. Accordingly, over the next few weeks we will discuss how best to do so. We are very grateful for all your prayers, support and generosity.

NATIONAL ROSARY CRUSADE
Many parishes throughout Ireland have been reciting the Fatima Rosary on the 13th of each month from May to September. The fifth of these will take place on Thursday in Long Tower at 7:15pm followed by evening Mass. The conclusion of the Rosaries will take place at the Hill of Slane on 13th October. If you would like to reserve a place on the bus, contact Angela at 7131 1456 or see her in the porch after the Thursday evening Mass. All welcome.
ST VINCENT DE PAUL will donate their entire weekend collection on the 22nd/23rd September to the registered charity ‘Action with Effect’ in support of the building of a hospice for the terminally ill and lepers in India. Please support this worthy charity.

PARENTS ADVICE CENTRE is seeking applications from people who would like to be offer a commitment of 4 hours per week. All volunteers are required to complete the Organisation’s Accredited Training Programme which offers participants the opportunity to gain in personal growth and development as well as training in listening and basic counselling skills to callers with problems. PAC is an important resource for families and it is hoped potential volunteers will come forward.
